                演讲者简介:

                刘骏秋,瑞士洛〓桑联邦理工(EPFL)的在读博士,分别于2012年获中国科学技术大学物理学学士,2016年获德国University of Erlangen-Nuremberg光学硕士【并获最高毕业荣誉。2015年加入Tobias Kippenberg组,博士研究方向为基于氮化一号彩票官方网站硅和氮化铝的非线性集成光子◇学。博士期间,国际首次实现低于1dB/m损耗的集成氮化硅波〖导,并基于此实现倍频程孤子频率梳和10GHz重复频率的※孤子频率梳,用于天体测量,激光雷达时时彩平台哪个好和光学相干断层扫描。研究⊙领域主要包括,集成光子学快乐彩票大发快三技巧、频率梳、MEMS、微波光子学▲等,已在Nature Photonics、Optica、PRL、 Nature Communications等国际著名刊物发表高水→平论文10余篇。

                讲座摘要

                Optical frequency combs are broadband light sources consisting of equidistant grid of frequencies. Over the past decades, optical frequency combs have revolutionized the fields of timing, spectroscopy and metrology. A recent breakthrough is the generation of frequency combs in optical microresonators based on photonic integrated circuit (PIC), thanks to the established semiconductor nano-fabrication technology. This new type of frequency combs, often called as “microcombs”, enables scalable, chip-scale, turnkey frequency combs at battery power consumption level, and have now reached a commercialization level for industrial applications.

                The talks given by Dr. Candidate Junqiu Liu will cover the fundamental operational principles and latest technical development (particularly the fabrication process) in the field of integrated microcombs, as well as several key applications using microcombs for chip-scale frequency synthesizers, optical clocks, LIDAR, dual-comb spectroscopy, microwave photonics, as well as astrophysical spectometer calibration.
